WhatsApp has introduced the desktop app so you have a new way to stay in touch anytime and anywhere - whether on your phone or computer at home or work. Like WhatsApp Web, our desktop app is simply an extension of your phone: the app mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device.
The new desktop app is available for Windows 8+ and Mac OS 10.9+ and is synced with WhatsApp on your mobile device. Because the app runs natively on your desktop, you'll have support for native desktop notifications, better keyboard shortcuts, and more.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS :
STEP 1: Open the official WhatsApp set from your browser on your desktop
STEP 2: Click on download for Windows PC
STEP 3: Wait for the download to complete. Run the installer and complete the setup using the default options
STEP 4: Launch WhatsApp from the shortcut on your desktop
STEP 5: You will be presented with a bar code on your screen
STEP 6: Go to your smartphone and open Whatsapp app
STEP 7: Click on the three dots in top right corner and navigate to WhatsApp Web. You will be asked to scan the QR code. Use this scanner to scan the code presented in your desktop app.
